How much does it cost?
Nothing. You can find matches, organize games and make groups without paying anything. And it stays that way.
Which sports are played here?
Football, padel, tennis, basketball, volleyball, squash, badminton, table tennis and more. Plus running, hiking and fitness. You pick the sport when you set the match.
Can I meet new players, not just friends?
Yes, that's the idea. Public matches are open to everyone, so you can take a free spot without knowing anyone. And the other way around: if you're short on players, open the match and someone from your city can fill it.
We're short on players. What do we do?
Open the match to the public from the match screen. Anyone in the city can see it and whoever wants takes a free spot. The group members stay in the match.
Which cities does it work in?
Everywhere in Romania. You pick your city and see the matches there. Your city comes alive the day someone sets the first match.
Isn't a WhatsApp group enough?
On WhatsApp you write, wait for replies and still don't know for sure who's coming. On Sportly you look at the list: who signed up and how many spots are left. And if you can't agree on a time, run a poll instead of 40 messages.
My friend has no account. Can they join?
Yes. Send the link on WhatsApp, on Instagram, wherever you like. Whoever opens it sees the match with no account and nothing to install. They make an account in a few seconds, only when they want to come.
Does it work without the app?
Yes, everything works in the browser too, on sportly.ro. The app is just handier because it sends you notifications.
Can I make a group just for my friends?
Yes. A new group is private: only people with the link get in. You make it public, or post a public match, only if you want someone from your city to find you.
